ETP Treatment Process — How It Works

Stage 1 — Pre-Treatment

Screening, oil and grease separation, equalization tank to balance flow and load variations.

Stage 2 — Primary Treatment

Coagulation and flocculation to remove suspended solids and colloidal matter. Clarifier for sludge separation.

Stage 3 — Secondary (Biological) Treatment

Aerobic and/or anaerobic biological treatment — MBBR, SBR, or activated sludge — to break down organic pollutants and reduce BOD and COD.

Stage 4 — Tertiary Treatment

Stage 5 — Sludge Management

Stage 6 — ZLD (Optional)
